My world is all about cupcakes, layered cakes, candies, cookies and chocolates. Because I simply can't resist temptation and must have sweets, but a girl shouldn't have all of those nasty calories, I started making lovely felted sweet treats to collect and give as gifts. Now they are available to you! My hope is to offer so many frosting, cake and sprinkle combinations that there will be a perfect Merry Moon Sweet Treat for everyone.
The treats themselves are 100% wool that has been needle felted into their tempting shapes. Needle felting is a dry-felting process that creates solid sculptural shapes out of wool roving.
My Sweet Treats are intended for adult collectors and prefer to be admired on a lovely cake stand or a shelf. Pets and children do seem to love my felted sweet treats too, but the detail work of my pieces just don't hold up well to little hands and paws.
